Finding Taliana Martinez in Grand Theft Auto V is one of the most beneficial side activities for players looking to maximize their heist payouts. As an exceptionally skilled getaway driver who demands a surprisingly low cut, unlocking her requires completing a specific random encounter on the highway. Knowing her exact location and requirements ensures you do not miss out on recruiting this valuable crew member.
Exact Map Location for the Crash Rescue Event
Taliana Martinez can be found along the Great Ocean Highway, situated near the intersection by Mount Chiliad and Paleto Bay. She is located next to a burning, overturned vehicle following a failed getaway attempt. A blue indicator dot will appear on your radar once you approach her immediate vicinity.
Prerequisites and Unlocking Conditions
To trigger this random event, players must progress past the initial story stages and gain access to Trevor Phillips. While the event can be completed using Michael, Franklin, or Trevor, it will only spawn after meeting story prerequisites like the Jewel Store Job or Trevor's introductory missions. Arriving in a four-wheeled vehicle is essential, as you cannot transport her on a motorcycle.
How to Complete Her Quest Successfully
Once you interact with Taliana, you must quickly get her into your car and begin driving toward her safehouse in Sandy Shores. Because she is critically injured, taking too long or crashing excessively will cause her to succumb to her injuries, failing the mission. Safe, swift driving is required to deliver her in time and officially recruit her for future heist operations.
Troubleshooting Common Spawn Issues
If Taliana does not appear when you first arrive, driving away from the spawn location and returning from the opposite direction can force the event to load. Time of day does not strictly limit her appearance, but cycling the game clock by sleeping at a safehouse often resolves persistent spawn bugs. Returning after completing other side activities can also trigger the encounter reliably.
